I'm Mazca, editing from south-east England since 2006. I'm a native English speaker but from my previous travels I can communicate in moderately incompetent Dutch and French where necessary.

I'm male, and happy to be referred to by he/him pronouns, but if you want to carry on the very sensible internet tradition of not assuming anything, I will never complain about being they/them. Similarly, I often lowercase my name as mazca, for instance in my signature, but I'm completely indifferent to how you capitalise it. Mazca, mazca, or shout MAZCA if that feels appropriate.

I've been an administrator since my my RfA in 2009. As both an editor and administrator I've never had a particular area of focus, I help out editing in various areas, primarily around science, languages and music. I've helped (for a given definition of 'help') in most administrator areas at some point, though primarily I focus on articles for deletion, redirects for discussion, and blocking vandals. I'm always happy to help if you feel I can be of assistance. Just ask!

Note to other administrators: I quite often clear WP:AIV backlogs and similar late at night my time and then log off, so if any blocks later look to be unnecessary and I'm not online, I am very happy for others to unblock at their discretion. The same goes for reversing any previous admin action I've taken; I'd appreciate being asked if possible, but if there's any urgency just go ahead.
