Jim Parrack (born February 8, 1981) is an American actor. He had a starring role as Hoyt Fortenberry in HBO series True Blood, and appeared in the film Battle: Los Angeles, which was released March 2011.[1] Parrack has been winning positive reviews for his current role in a New York production of John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men, in which he plays Slim, a ‘dignified and respected mule driver.’ The play runs from April 2014 to July 2014 , directed by Anna D. Shapiro, also stars James Franco, Chris O’Dowd, Jim Norton and Leighton Meester.[2]
Parrack was born on February 8, 1981 and grew up in the town of Allen, Texas.[3] In 2001, Parrack moved to Los Angeles, California where he studied acting at The Stella Adler Academy[4] and then at the Playhouse West.[5]
Parrack and actress Ciera Parrack married on October 19, 2008.[6][7] Parrack is the president of 120 Productions, Inc.[8] On June 4, 2014, it was announced that the couple had filed for divorce due to irreconcilable differences. They had been separated since September 2013.
Parrack has been linked to Hunger Games actress Leven Rambin since Spring 2014.
