Chris Seelbach is Vice-President Political Consulting, Finance & Administration for the national consulting firm, The Seidewitz Group and has appeared as a political commentator on a nationally syndicated morning television show.

In 2008, Chris helped Democrats take one of the biggest prizes in Ohio politics—The Ohio House of Representative—by helping to elect two of the four seats the Democrats needed to win a majority of the House. Under Chris’ leadership in 2007, The Seidewitz Group helped elect three of the four top finishers in the Cincinnati City Council Election, including former Mayor Roxanne Qualls and current Vice-Mayor David Crowley.

A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Chris moved to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1998 to attend Xavier University, where upon graduation he received the prestigious “Jesuit Ideals” and “14th Annual Cultural Diversity” awards for his work founding one of first gay/straight alliances in the country at a Catholic University.

Upon graduation from Xavier, Chris attended the University of Dayton School Of Law on a social justice scholarship. While in law school Chris worked for a Cincinnati law firm specializing in employment discrimination and for a Federal, Republican Appointed Judge.

Chris was also a vital member of the Repeal Article XII executive board and worked for several years to develop and implement the only winning gay-rights initiative in the country in 2004.

Chris is mentor with the Executive Mentorship program at Xavier University, serves on the board of cincYPac, a young professional political action committee in Cincinnati and was honored by the weekly newspaper City Beat as the "Hot" political person of 2008.

Chris lives in Over the Rhine with his partner Craig and their five cats.
