Claudia Miranda is a Senior Business Intelligence Administrator at McKesson, with responsibility for the Enterprise Business Intelligence system serving over 2200 users across the US. McKesson Corporation, a Fortune 16 corporation, is the world's leading supply management and healthcare information technology company. Headquartered in San Francisco, Calif., McKesson employs 25,000 employees dedicated to delivering vital medicines, medical supplies and health information technology solutions. Previously, she was a Lead Application Analyst with BellSouth Latin America, based in Atlanta. In this position she had overall responsibility for the Head Quarters IT infrastructure and new systems deployment. She led the implementation and support of the Management Benchmarking System (multi tier business intelligence system), enabling 10 Latin America operating companies to perform benchmarking analysis in a seamless framework. She also supported, administered and maintained BellSouth Latin America’s systems and databases infrastructure. She was responsible for the deployment of the BellSouth Latin America’s Portal to over 10,000 employees in 10 Latin America countries and HQ. The tool enabled communication channels between 10 Latin America operating companies. She also directed, among other projects, the technical aspects of the BellSouth International common ERP project, deployed in the Miami eCenter to serve the Latin America Region and Atlanta offices. The project had tight timelines and involved the coordination of multiple companies and vendors. Mrs. Miranda started her career with Oracle as a technical consultant in 1997. She has held numerous positions over the years with increasing responsibilities in Databases Systems Management, Financial and Enterprise wide systems, and Business Intelligence systems. She has in-depth understanding of all phases of the software development lifecycle and their associated deliverables, including: Feasibility Studies, Requirements Specifications, Outline Systems Design, EER Data Modeling, Detailed Design, Unit and User Acceptance Testing and Maintenance Planning. A native of Bogota, Colombia, She holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems and Computer Engineer from Los Andes University, a Masters of Science in Industrial Engineering from Los Andes University and a Masters of Science in Project Management from George Washington University. She has been involved in the technology community in Atlanta Georgia at the Technology Association of Georgia and at the Business Objects users group.
