Russell Brooks

Russell Brooks (born in Montreal, Quebec) is an author, and essayist.

His first essay to be published, Why Vancouver doesn't deserve to host the 2010 Winter Olympics, discusses Canada's recent Olympic bids and the treatment of Canadian amateur athletes.

He is a former Canadian Track and Field team member that has taken part in international competitions in the 100 meters, the 200 meters, and the 4 x 100 meter relay.
