Adding references[edit]

Please use the method outlined in WP:FOOT to add references to an article. I would also recommend that you keep your edits to Anime Mid-Atlantic to a minimum—such as correction misspellings and grammar or adding citations to third-party sources. See also Wikipedia's guidelines about conflicts of interests at WP:COI. --Farix (Talk) 20:23, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

June 2012[edit]

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Anime Mid-Atlantic. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. Tiptoety talk 21:37, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that the username you have chosen (Animemidatlantic) seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.

There are two issues with this:

  1. It is possible that you have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, you must exercise great caution when editing on topics related to your organization or adding links to its website.
  2. Your account cannot represent a group of people. You may wish to create a new account with a username that represents only you. Alternatively, you may consider changing your username to avoid giving the impression that your personal account is being used for promotional purposes.

Regardless of whether you change your name or create a new account, you are not exempted from the guidelines concerning editing where you have a conflict of interest. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. The article in question is Anime Mid-Atlantic. Thank you.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 03:31, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning; the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Anime Mid-Atlantic with this edit, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 03:38, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for persistent disruptive editing, as you did at Anime Mid-Atlantic. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.  — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 03:57, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for making legal threats or taking legal action, as you did at Anime Mid-Atlantic. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia while the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved. Tgeairn (talk) 05:49, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In addition to the links above, please also see these instructions on how to effectively contact Wikipedia regarding factual errors. At that article, you will find contact information if needed. Thank you. --Tgeairn (talk) 06:06, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
