Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Missasphalt, and welcome to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Newcomers help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

If you have any questions, see the help pages, ask at the Village pump, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or feel free to ask an editor on one of their talk pages. There are a number of experienced editors, and you'll see from my own talk page that I have benefited from the input of some. I should have added the above section first, but it didn't really occur to me until after, especially as I haven't played that role before, and I had to look at a couple of examples before combining bits from two other editor's welcome templates. You may find the info handy though. I certainly have. Again, welcome! Wotnow (talk) 04:15, 17 November 2009 (UTC)Wotnow[reply]

Asphalt article

[edit]

Hello Missasphalt. Thanks for taking the initiative to contribute to the asphalt article, and for picking up my grammatical error re "the Europe" section. You can see I just copied and pasted the text from "the UK", but then overlooked that bit of grammar!

Regarding your contribution to Early Use in the United States. Using the information you placed in the text, I have located the details online, and used them to create the Wikibizzo referencing (Wiki markup I think they call it, but I like my term better). I commend your initiative in adding this, and providing enough information for someone to tidy up the referencing, which I trust I got right.[1] If more people did what you have done, to simply give enough information for someone else to sort out the Wikibizzo, I think it would significantly improve the quality of Wikipedia.
