Caroll Smallwood is an American poet, creative nonfiction, and fiction writer. She won the National Federation of State Poetry Societies Award.[1] Smallwood also was awarded the Franklin-Christoph Poetry Contest Winner title, and the Eric Hoffer Award for Prose.[1]

Career

Smallwood has been working in the education and library administration fields as early as 1961.[2]

Early life and education

Smallwood received her Bachelor's of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University in 1961.[2] She later earned her Master's of Art degree in 1963.[2]
