David Heymann is an associate professor of architecture at the University of Texas at Austin. He was selected by George W. Bush and Laura Bush to design a 10,000 ft² (930 m²) honey-colored native limestone single-level home on the Prairie Chapel Ranch, which serves as their home away from the White House.
