L. Adrienne Cupples (c.1945 – January 13, 2022)[2] was a professor of epidemiology and biostatistics at the Boston University School of Public Health.

Early life and education

Cupples studied history and American studies at Raymond College, part of the University of the Pacific (United States) in Stockton, California before earning a masters and doctorate in statistics from Boston University.[2]

Professor Cupples was predeceased by her mother Mary Lea Sherrill.[3]

Academic career

She was one of the top highly-cited researchers according to webometrics.[4] For more than 35 years, Cupples worked as a researcher on the Framingham Heart Study, ultimately becoming the Co-Principal Investigator.[2]
