The 2022 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference is the thirteenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League (40th conference of the former Shakey's V-League) and its fourth conference as a professional league.

The tournament began on 8 October 2022.[1] This is the first reinforced conference in three years, since the last reinforced was commenced way back in 2019. It features nine local teams with one foreign guest player each. Among these nine teams are the returning F2 Logistics Cargo Movers and the debuting team — Akari Chargers.[2][3]

Format

This conference will implement a single round-robin in preliminary and semifinals and the 3rd place match and Championship match will be a best-of-three series. The following format will be conducted for the entirety of the conference:

Preliminary Round
  1. Single-round robin preliminaries; 9 teams; Teams are ranked using the FIVB Ranking System.
  2. Top four teams will advance to the semifinals.
Semifinals
  1. Single-round robin format; Top 4 teams; Teams are ranked using the FIVB Ranking System.
  2. The 3rd and 4th ranked teams advance to the bronze medal match series.
  3. The 1st and 2nd ranked teams advance to the gold medal match series.
Finals
  1. Bronze medal: SF Ranked 3 vs SF Ranked 4 (best-of-three series)
  2. Gold medal: SF Ranked 1 vs SF Ranked 2 (best-of-three series)

Pool standing procedure

  3. Sets ratio
  4. Points ratio
  5. If the tie continues as per the point ratio between two teams, the priority will be given to the team which won the last match between them. When the tie in points ratio is between three or more teams, a new classification of these teams in the terms of points 1, 2 and 3 will be made taking into consideration only the matches in which they were opposed to each other.

Match won 3–0 or 3–1: 3 match points for the winner, 0 match points for the loser
Match won 3–2: 2 match points for the winner, 1 match point for the loser.
