Amli is a census town in the Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli in India.

Amli is located at 20°17′N 73°01′E / 20.28°N 73.02°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 26 metres (85 feet).

As of 2001[update] India census,[2] Amli had a population of 28,566. Males constitute 39% of the population and females 61%. Amli has an average literacy rate of 70%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with 68% of the males and 32% of females literate. About 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.
