Ashur Jordan Tolliver (born January 24, 1988) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Baltimore Orioles.

Career

Tolliver attended Sylvan Hills High School in Sherwood, Arkansas and played college baseball at both the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and Oklahoma City University. He was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the fifth round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft. He was called up to the majors for the first time on May 23, 2016.[1] He made a bare-handed catch on a line drive the week prior that garnered national headlines.[2]He got his first major league win on June 24, 2016 against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Tolliver was claimed off waivers by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on September 3, 2016.
