Atchi Kotchi (あっちこっち, English title "Place to Place"), sometimes misspelled Acchi Kocchi, is a Japanese yonkoma manga series by Ishiki which began serialisation in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara magazine from 2006. An anime adaptation by AIC began airing on TBS from April 5, 2012.[1][2]

Plot

The serious-minded Tsumiki and the pure-hearted Io feel they never want to be parted, but haven't become a couple yet. More than friends but less than lovers, they develop an awkward quasi-romance.

Main characters

Tsumiki Miniwa (御庭 つみき, Miniwa Tsumiki)
Voiced by: Rumi Ōkubo
The main female protagonist. Tsumiki is somewhat petite and dainty in stature. She has a tsundere attitude, and has a crush on Io. Every time Io gives Tsumiki a pat on the head or Tsumiki sees something she likes, she grows cat ears. Tsumiki has shown an unusual level of strength for her size, often shown it at Mayoi's expense. She is skilled at arcade games, which is demonstrated in Episode 1 of the anime series. Her appearance and figure bears some resemblance to Konata Izumi of the manga series, Lucky Star.
Io Otonashi (音無 伊御, Otonashi Io)
Voiced by: Nobuhiko Okamoto
The main male protagonist. Dense, yet kind at heart. He is oblivious to Tsumiki's crush on him, but she is the closest girl to him regardless. He is usually seen spinning a pen with his hand, often fast enough to catch Mayoi's surprise at his hand's speed. At times, he unknowingly acts like a casanova. He is also quite strong, which is often (though not as often as Tsumiki) showed during Sakaki or Mayoi's pranks or antics.
Mayoi Katase (片瀬 真宵, Katase Mayoi)
Voiced by: Hitomi Nabatame
Along with Sakaki, she makes up the prankster duo in the friendship circle. Very savvy with electronics and almost never seen without her lab-coat. She loves to tease Tsumiki, which often brings her severe repercussions from Tsumiki herself.
Sakaki Inui (戌井 榊, Inui Sakaki)
Voiced by: Shintarō Asanuma
Io's partner-in-crime. Together with Mayoi, he makes up the prankster duo in the friendship circle. His sister owns a patisserie where he and Io also work.
Hime Haruno (春野 姫, Haruno Hime)
Voiced by: Kaori Fukuhara
The clumsy ditz and air-head member of the group. She has a very sweet and innocent personality. Easily gets a nosebleed when she's flustered or riled up.

Other characters

Miiko Inui (戌井 みいこ, Inui Miiko)
Voiced by: Yuko Minaguchi
The shop manager of the cake shop Hatch Potch (ハチポチ, Hachi Pochi) and Sakaki's elder sister. She has waist-length light brown hair and is always smiling.
Saki Sakimori (崎守 咲, Sakimori Saki)
Voiced by: Natsumi Takamori
A student with waist-length blond hair and green eyes. Her hair arcs up in two triangle shapes, giving the appearance that she has cat's ears.
Kana Miyama (深山 佳奈, Miyama Kana)
Voiced by: Hiromi Konno
A student with green hair in short, puffy pigtails and blue eyes.
Kyōya Saibara (西原 京谷, Saibara Kyōya)
Voiced by: Tsubasa Yonaga
A student with short black hair. He is secretly in love with Saki.
Kikue Sakuragawa (桜川 キクヱ, Sakuragawa Kikue)
Voiced by: Junko Iwao
A clumsy teacher with shoulder-length greyish-light-blue hair and green eyes.
Ami Kirino (桐野 亜美, Kirino Ami)
Voiced by: Marie Miyake
A student with pinkish hair. She is a member of the Broadcast Committee, that is, the school radio.
