Ben Macpherson MSP (born 1984 or 1985)[1] is a Scottish solicitor and politician. He is the Scottish National Party (SNP) Member of Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the Edinburgh Northern and Leith constituency. Macpherson was first elected to the Scottish Parliament in the 2016 election.

Macpherson graduated from the University of York a degree in philosophy and politics. He later studied at the University of Edinburgh.[2]

He became a member of the SNP in 2005.[2]
