Bernt Eveart Persson (24 June 1946 to 20 September 2020) was a Swedish international speedway rider[2] who finished runner up in the 1972 Speedway World Championship final.[3] He rode in Britain for the Edinburgh Monarchs, the Cradley Heath Heathens (for eight seasons) [4] and one season with the Sheffield Tigers. He became Swedish Champion in 1977.[2]
