Bheeshmar is a 2003 Tamil crime film directed by Ranjith, making his directorial debut. The film features Ranjith and Devayani in lead roles. The film, produced by Ranjith's wife Priya Raman, had musical score by S. P. Venkatesh and was released on 27 September 2003.[1]
Plot
Bheeshmar (Ranjith) is an honest and upright police officer. He is married to a naive village woman Gowri (Devayani) and they have a girl. Bheeshmar is transferred to a new department which is filled of corrupt policemen. Soon, Inspector Bheeshmar clashes with the policemen Aadhi (Ilavarasu) and Dhandapani (Vasu Vikram), the assistant commissioner Singampuli (Sadiq) and the heartless don R.K (Rami Reddy).
