This is a non-diffusing subcategory of Category:British children's book illustrators. It includes illustrators that can also be found in the parent category, or in diffusing subcategories of the parent.

These illustrators have won the Kate Greenaway Medal from the British Library Association or its successor CILIP, recognising the year's best-illustrated new children's book published in the United Kingdom. For many years it was restricted to illustrators who were British subjects.

The award was inaugurated for the 1955 publication year and there have been 55 Medals and 59 winning works through the 2011/2012 cycle.
