It is not tngri. Also tengri... In mongolian it is tenger or tingri. but not tngri. because in modern mongolian writing three consonants can not be side by side at the beginning of the sentence... Also it must be Tengri. Buzancar (talk) 06:02, 18 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I find no evidence in JSTOR for tenger. I do find mentions of the right kind for tengri; mentions for tingri may exist but the search is overwhelmed with hits for Tingri County and [[Tingri (town). All the sources we used for writing those articles had "tngri", so I see no reason to change it. Besides, I can't really tell which of three options you are advocating.
