[edit] History
Chandlings was founded as a co-educational day-school in 1994 by the governors of Cothill House to complement the preparatory boys’ boarding education offered at Cothill. The relatively close proximity of Chandlings, in rural surroundings near Oxford, and Cothill enables the two schools to share bursarial and grounds staff.[2]
[edit] Cothill Education Trust
The school is run by Cothill Educational Trust, an educational charity registered in England,[3] which also operates a number of preparatory schools all across England and in France.
[edit] Structure
Chandlings consists of a Pre-Prep department, which consists of the Early Years programme for pupils in the Foundation Stage up to Year 2 and the Prep department (Years 3-6).
