Danielle Maria Lineker (née Bux), (born 15 June 1979) is a Welsh model,[1] television personality and actress. She is married to former English footballer Gary Lineker.

Born in Cardiff to Kim and Roy Bux (of Anglo Indian descent), who divorced while she was young. Then later her mother, three half-siblings and stepfather, Alex "Said" Mohamed,[2] in Butetown, Cardiff. She attended Cantonian High School in Fairwater where she sat 8 GCSE's and 3 A-levels.[3]

Lineker started modelling (working as Danielle Bux) at the age of 18 after winning a place in the Miss Hawaiian Tropic contest in Las Vegas, USA. she became a model and has since modelled for various brands, including La Senza,[4] and appeared on the cover of various magazines including Maxim[5] and Fabulous.

Bux assisted Sir Trevor McDonald onstage at the 2008 National TV Awards.

She finished in third place in the 2009 series of ITV's Hell's Kitchen.[1]

Billed as Danielle Lineker, she made her stage debut in Calendar Girls at the Bristol Hippodrome, beginning 26 January 2011.
