Draft:Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In New Zealand, Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines (ACVM) are compounds that are used by humans to help manage plants or animals in New Zealand.

The ACVM Act[1] was passed by the New Zealand Parliament in 1997 and this legislated what an agricultural compound or veterinary medicine was in New Zealand, how they were approved and how they are regulated.

The Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines group (ACVM) of New Zealand is part of the Ministry for Primary Industries and is responsible for regulating and approval of agricultural compounds and veterinary medicines in New Zealand[2].
