Ronald Makabayi Mabberi (born July 26, 1972) better known as Bro Ronnie Makabai is a Ugandan pastor, author, and philanthropist. He serves as the Senior Pastor of Evangelical Truth Ministries (ETM) Church International and is the founder and owner of Ark TV and Christ FM, two of the church's partner media outlets.[1]
Career[edit]
On May 22, 2006, he started his ministry, and later built Holy City Salama on Salaama, Munyonyo Road, and on May 28, 2017, he expanded and built Holy City Entebbe.[2]
He hosts regular television programs like Peace Center.[3]
In 2017, pastors from the National Fellowship of Born-Again Pentecostal Churches (NFBAPC), Born-Again Faith Federation (BAFFE), Evangelical Fellowship of Uganda (EFU), and Miracle Centre Cathedrals (MCC) jointly signed a petition condemning Ronnie Makabai of Holy City Entebbe.[4]
In addition, Makabai has begun a musical career and has recorded and published his debut song, "Lord of Hosts."[5]
Moreover, he is the author of Active Invisible Hand and Awakening Insight.
