Fiorenza Marchegiani (born 31 July 1953) is an Italian actress. She is the mother of soccer player Filippo Maria Scardina (born 1992) who has played at the AS Roma.
Biography[edit]
She debuted in theater at the Stabile di Genova, reciting in The Thicket of Ostrovsky, and in The Venetian Twins of Goldoni, directed by Luigi Squarzina. In 1981 after some appearance in television series of RAI she obtains success in the cinema by portraying Marta in the first film of Massimo Troisi, Ricomincio da tre. In 1982 she recited in other two films, to continue her career predominantly in television but by alternating with cinema and theater. The approaching of the 2000s brought her for a brief period to participate in small roles in La seconda volta non si scorda mai and in Natale a New York where she portrayed the wife of the character of Christian De Sica. From 1999 she portrays Letizia Visconti Gherardi inside the soap opera Vivere. In 2002 she participates at the soap opera Incantesimo, where she portrays Giancarla Morante. In 2009 she participates at some episodes of the TV series Distretto di Polizia, in the role of Silvia Castelli, while from 2012 to 2015 she participates in the TV series Le tre rose di Eva, by portraying Livia Monforte.
