Maa Sathabahuni Temple situated at Bilabadi Korkora panchayat, which is 4 km away from Bhadrak Town . This place put a great Historical significance with Jagganath culture and the Geographical location with Sree Mandir Puri .

This temple hold a beautiful history hidden behind it . The oldest literature of odisha that's written by Sri Achyutananda has a special mention of Godesses Sathabahuni and a beautiful geographical linkage with Jagganath culture.  

ASI (Archeological survey of India ) given this temple a tag of Protected monuments of India . Under serial no S-OR-24.https://www.rtiodisha.gov.in/Pages/printAllManual/office_id:268/lang: .This temple Geographical location is like a tri sakti Pitha in Sree Yantra Triangle which includes Maa Bhadrakali ,Maa Biraja and Maa Sathabahuni in its three verticess . And it hold a Banayan tree which is of several thousand years ago from where lord Jagganath Nilachakra Flag was seen .

In Ancient times the Bada danda of lord Mahaprabhu was started from this temple becausefromthis place the searching of Nilamadhab was startedand Directed by Maa, in present the road also connects directly in between Puri and Mas Sathabahuni temple because from this sacred land of Sathabahuni temple Biswabasu , the first person and king of Tribal community finds the path to Nilakandara where mahaprabhu Nilamadhav was present.More intrestengly Maa Sathabahuni was the head Godesses of Biswabasu. You will find a glimpse of Tribal worship here . A old banayan tree was there and it was called as Neta bandha Bara gacha in odia and it was worshipped by people . As it was belived it was the tree where Maa Sathabahuni resides . One village was there named as BILABADI in which temple location comes ,which was a tribal name that place of Bilva trees . From here we get a transparent idea that here Tribal worship towards nature was done here and dedication of place name was given by the name of that particular natural thing that dominant, which was a part of tribal civilization and it confirm that in that time it was the Residing Temporary shelter place of Viswabsu and his community. Lord Sri Chaitanya and Maa Saradha devi do meditation in this sacred place . It is a place of Tantra Sadhana.  

Biswabasu founder of Nilamadhab , head goddess was Maa Sathabahuni. As mother Sathabahuni is the head Godesses of Biswabasu and plays a major role in finding Nilamadhav so , In Jagganath culture it takes a major position in it . Khuntia Sevak of puri sevayat family from puri was transferred from puri to Sathabahuni by Gajapati Raja for worshipping and caring propose by Building a Matha here . Still u find a biological proof of that Khuntia family is still present there. Makarmela ,Pana sankranti and kanta patua which are the focus of attention of this Temple. Makar Mela was the famous festival of Maa Sathabahuni , Very huge people gathered in the sacred place. Yanja and Chandi Patha was performed here followed by cultural program of JATRA odia Gana natya in night upto 4 days . Lacs of people gathered here from the district and outside the district also and seeks blessings of Maa Sathabahuni.

The beautiful drama of Odisha Jatra Gana natya was started from this place with the blessings of godesses .It was the place called as Birthplace (Entudishala) of Jollywood Odia Gana natya. By the blessings of Maa Sathabahuni the Natya charya Raghunath panda who was renownedily known as the father of Jolly wood awarded by government of Odisha. And the old drama Jatra was started from this place. Many more golden history hold by this Sathabahuni and this Sacred land Bilabadi.

Maa Sathabahuni is also refered as Bata Mangala of Akhandalamani . After Darshan of Akhandala Mani (ARADI) if anybody didn't do darshan of Maa Sathabahuni the darshan is not fruitful. It is a shaktipeetha which has a swambhya Idol . No body was the creater or established the Idol .The miracle of Maa Sathabahuni spread in Odisha and Outside Odisha also . It is a place which is now a Protected Monument under Government of Odisha. TOURISM. Maa Sathabahuni Temple is also called Bada danda Adhisthatri Devi Maa.
