Oleg Fedotov (February 13, 1953, in Gurzuf, Crimea-June 18, 1996, Gurzuf) was a Soviet contemporary artist who painted landscapes, seascapes, and still life compositions. He particularly drew from Russian geography, including the Black Sea coast of Crimea.
Fedotov did not receive a professional art education. Nevertheless, his works garnered recognition for their brilliant portrayal of nature and his mastery in capturing light and shadow.
