Red Ketchup is a Canadian adult animated television series directed by Martin Villeneuve and produced by Sphere Animation for Télétoon la nuit and Adult Swim. The series is an adaptation of the comic book series of the same name, and it was spoken in both English and French.[1][2][3]

Plot[edit]

Steve "Red" Ketchup is a rogue FBI agent, who, after the cold war, solve some crimes and get to know each other.

Characters[edit]

  • Red Ketchup (voiced by Benoit Briere in the French version and Michael Kash in the English version), a rogue FBI agent.
  • Peter Plywood (voiced by Gabriel Lessard in the French version and Kintaro Akiyama in the English version), Red's owner.
  • Sally Ketchup (voiced by France Castel in the French version and Jana Peck in the English version), Red's girlfriend.

Production[edit]

In June 2022, Corus Entertainment announced that it had ordered an animated adaptation of Red Ketchup directed by Martin Villeneuve and produced by Sphere Animation.[4][5][6]

Broadcast[edit]

Red Ketchup premiered in French on Télétoon (via Télétoon la nuit) on April 20, 2023 and in English on Adult Swim on April 23, 2023.

Sphere Media holds the rights to the series in some international markets.
