From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ron Dorff is a fashion brand founded in 2012 by Claus Lindorff. Lindorff's background is in finance and advertising. While working in Paris, he established BETC Luxe, a fashion and luxury brand agency. Initially, the brand focussed on menswear, and Ron Dorff introduced five basic items. The brand has since expanded its offerings to include sportswear, loungewear, and underwear for both men and women. Its most popular design is the Dad print. Its sub-brand His for Her is a unisex brand. Ron Dorff's swimwear has become one of its most popular lines and accounts for about 25% of its annual sales.[1] Its swimwear designs are inspired by locations like the Amalfi coast and a focus on minimalist aesthetics.[2]

Ron Dorff has partnerships with the Mykonos-based Jackie O’ boutique, beach club, and restaurant, as well as with Milan-based TBD Eyewear for sunglasses and with Bayona for espadrilles. Ron Dorff's approach to product development and marketing focuses on minimalist design, year-round availability of products like swimwear, and collaborative efforts with brands that share a similar focus on quality and sustainability.[2]

Notable work[edit]

Ron Dorff collaborated with Neil Patrick Harris on a collection of wardrobe basics. The collaboration used the Dad and Papa monikers and featured classic tee shirts, cashmere sweaters, baseball caps, socks, and the brand's first children’s pieces with Bro and Sis designs. The brand launched the collection in September 2022 and donated fifteen per cent of its proceeds to World Central Kitchen. This collaboration between Ron Dorff and Neil Patrick Harris featured clean-lined graphics and silhouettes.[3]
