Emiko Uematsu

Emiko Uematsu (植松 恵美子, Uematsu Emiko, born November 13, 1967) is a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Takamatsu, Kagawa and graduate of Kobe University, she ran unsuccessfully for the House of Councillors in 2004. She ran again in 2007 and was elected for the first time.
