Erode East Assembly constituency

Erode East is a State Assembly Constituency of Erode City in Erode District in the state of Tamil Nadu.

It is included in Erode Parliamentary Constituency

This is newly formed by separating the integrated Erode State Assembly Constituency, in the year of 2008.

It covers the Central part of Erode City Corporation till the river Kaveri on East & Modakurichi Constituency limit on south, even though some part of the city is covered by that constituency also.

The Eastern part of the City, to the Eastern banks of the river Kaveri is included in Komarapalayam Constituency.
