Template:Contains Korean text "For First Time Lovers" (Hangul: 처음 사랑하는 연인들을 위해, subtitled Banmal Song [반말송]) is Jung Yong Hwa's debut digital solo single, which is about first-time lovers wanting to get closer. In fact, the song was first disclosed through a South Korean TV show and drew a lot of viewers' attention at the time of the broadcast. After the TV broadcast, viewers kept requesting the official recording of the song.
Background
Jung Yong Hwa released rewritten and rearrangement of Banmal Song composed by him and written by him and Seohyun, his on-screen wife. Banmal Song expressed his wish for her to speak in "banmal" (Hangul: 반말, meaning "informal language" in English) with him and her response to his wish. It was part of the Banmal Song video[1] made as a mission on MBC’s TV show We Got Married for YongSeo Couple (Hangul: 용서커플), a virtually wed couple, to make their own duet song and post it on YouTube. The song's video on YouTube was very popular to hit 1 million views just in three days, and as of 28 December 2013, its view count exceeded 5.3 million.
Re-titled to For First Time Lovers, the song features lovely lyrics for first-time lovers to get closer and an easy-to-follow melody with a light acoustic sound.[2]
The couple's fans around the world wanted them to release their duet version of the song, but Jung Yong Hwa composed the song by himself regardless of the broadcast, inspired by Seohyun, and at the time, it was impossible for the couple to duet in a given situation. "For the First Time Lovers" is the original version without the added lyrics by Seohyun since they could not record a duet at the time. The couple performed this song live for the first time in Niigata, Japan, which was broadcast in South Korea on 11 September 2011.

Chart positions
- The song topped the Gaon Chart for two consecutive weeks.[3]
- The Banmal Song UCC was chosen as number 4 out of the top 10 UCCs of the first half-year of 2011 by YouTube Korea.[4]

The Banmal Song video is considered as the music video for the song because it does not have its official one. In the description box of the video on YouTube, what the uploader said is as follows, with an English translation in parentheses:
용서 부부의 부부송인 반말송입니다. (Banmal Song is our couple's song.)
흠.. 많이 미흡하지만 즐겁게 예쁘게 봐주세요. (Well, it is far from perfect, but we put lots of time and effort into it.)
오글오글..........(It makes us cringe.)

Duet stage performances
- YongSeo Couple had their first live stage performance of Banmal Song at Big Swan Stadium in Niigata, Japan.[5] The performance was broadcast live on Fuji TV CS in Japan at that time and thereafter on MBC in South Korea on 11 September 2011.
