Fulpmes
Template:Infobox Ort in Österreich Fulpmes is a village in Tyrolese Stubaital, Austria, with a population of approximately 4000 (it is estimated that 700 of these are not of Austrian nationality).[citation needed] Fulpmes is the center of iron production in the area, and lies at the base of the Schlick 2000 complex mountain, which has its own chairlift service and operates ski hills in the winter.
Geography
The municipality of Fulpmes belongs to the Innsbruck Land district. It has an area of 16 square kilometres (6 mi²), and an altitude of 936 metres (3,070 ft). The neighboring municipalities are Neustift to the west and Telfes and Mieders to the east.
Fulpmes is the terminal station of the narrow-gauge railway Stubaitalbahn from Innsbruck.
