Gong Jing was an official during the late Han Dynasty period of Chinese history. He served as the Administrator of Qing Province (青州太守) during the time of the Yellow Turban Rebellion.

In fiction

In Luo Guanzhong's historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Gong was under siege by the Yellow Turban rebels in Qing Province, and he sent a messenger requesting reinforcements from Liu Yan, Administrator of Yan Province. Liu Yan sent Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei to lead an army to help Gong and they defeated the rebels together.[1]
