Guayana Region

Guayana Region, in the east, is the largest region.

The Guayana Region is an administrative region of Venezuela. The region has a population of 1,383,297 inhabitants and a territory of 458,344 km². It borders the independent nation of Guyana (formerly British Guiana) which forms part of The Guianas. Geographically it is part of the Guiana Shield and is also known as the Venezuelan Guayana.[1]
