Haris has two origins. The Islamic name “Haris” (Arabic: حارس, romanized: Ḥāris) means “Guardian Angel”, while the Greek variant is a first or given mythological Greek name, which means "grace".[1]
The name is especially popular in Pakistan and Bosnia.[2]
