Dansk: Midnatssol panorama af den nordvestlige del af byen Upernavik i Grønland set fra en klippe bag byens fodboldbane i sydvestlig retning i aftensol kl. 23:45 d. 8. august 2007. Billedet er skabt som følger
  1. 2x10 billeder taget ved max zoom med et Canon DIGITAL IXUS 800 IS kompaktkamera ved en lukkehastighed på 1/250 s og en blænde på 5.5 er benyttet. Hvert billede er optaget i superfine JPEG opløsning.
  2. Billederne er sammenhæftet med Hugin ver. 0.7 beta 5 med følgende indstillinger
    • 1042 kontrolpunkter
    • Projektion: Rectangulær
    • Optimize: Everything
    • Exposure preset: LDR, variable white balance
    • Stitcher: Soft blending, TIFF, deflate
  3. Den herved genererede TIFF fil er herefter beskåret i GIMP ver. 2.2.16 og eksporteret til JPG med en kavlitet på 100%.
English: Midnight sun panorama of the north-western part of the town Upernavik in Greenland. The viewpoint is a cliff near the soccer field with a south-western heading and was taken at 11:45 pm on August 8, 2007. The image has been generated using the following steps
  1. 2x10 images taken at max zoom with a Canon DIGITAL IXUS 800 IS compact camera. Shutter: 1/250 s. Aperture: 5.5. Saved in superfine jpeg resolution.
  2. The images are thereafter stitched using Hugin ver. 0.7 beta 5 with the following settings
    • 1042 control points
    • Projection: Rectlinear
    • Optimize: Everything
    • Exposure preset: LDR, variable white balance
    • Stitcher: Soft blending, TIFF, deflate
  3. The generated TIFF file is hereafter cropped in GIMP ver. 2.2.16 og exported to JPG at a quality of 100%.
Français : Panorama vespéral du nord-ouest de la ville d'Upernavik, au Groenland, vu de la falaise près du stade de football et en regardant vers le sud-ouest. Image panoramique construite en utilisant Hugin à partir de 21 photos organisées en 2 rangs, puis retravaillée en utilisant GIMP.
