Iryna Olehivna Blokhina (Ukrainian: Блохіна Ірина Олегівна, born January 15, 1983, in Kyiv, Ukrainian SSR, USSR) is a Ukrainian sportsperson, singer, actor and TV host. She is often involved in rhythmic gymnastics where she works with Ukrainian national team as a choreographer.

Biography

She was born on January 15, 1983, in Kyiv to a family of well-known Ukrainian sportsmen: his father is famous football player and coach Oleh Blokhin and her mother is Irina Deriugina - multiple World and European champion and medalist in rhythmic gymnastics.

She studied music in Los Angeles, United States. When she lived in the US, she had some episodic roles in films: "Click", "Two and a half men", "Thank You".[1]

In 2012 she composed a song "З'єднаємо Весь Світ" ("We Will Bring Together the Whole World") which was widely sung during Euro 2012.[2] That year Blokhina was a TV host of a popular in Ukraine TV show about football "Великий футбол" ("Great Football"). Next year she performed "We Make This World Go!" which was the official song of the 2013 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Kyiv.[3]
