Plot

The film begins with a convict Sathpal Verma released from prison. In a terminally ill state, he moves on a search and dies at the house of popular courtesan Meena Bai disclosing a truth. Immediately, she falsifies herself as dead and takes a new name Amita. Subsequently, she finds the whereabouts of Shankar son of Sathpal. He is an unemployed youth who lives with his mother Shanti & sister Seema and they are under the misconception that Sathpal has passed away long back. Amita stipulates and appoints him as her white knight. Initially, she orders to reach the Taragarh estate owned by a diabolic person Thakur Bhanu Pratap Singh, and obtain a job.

Knowing it, Shanti angsts and denies it because the people of that area infuriate and inculpate his father. Despite this, Shankar intrepidly steps-in and acquires the job and credence from Bhanu Pratap. Besides, Sunita a cocky daughter of Bhanu Pratap arrives, and previously, she had a clash with Shankar. Madhu a benevolent, daughter of Haria trustworthy of Bhanu Pratap whom Sunita treats as her own also accompanies. The duo falls for Shankar but he loves Madhu when Sunita backs up. Accordingly, with the guidance of Amita, Shankar accomplishes several missions which plummet Bhanu Pratap. Afterward, he discerns that the entire villagers are censuring Sathpal as a traitor and homicide one that wrecked their lives. Shankar feels something fishy and starts digging, he misinterprets Amita / Meena Bai and accuses her when she spins back.

Chote Thakur Shashi Pratap is the younger brother of Bhanu Pratap who is a rectitude deified by the public. Shashi & Amita maintained close intimacy during their childhood. Later, he goes abroad when Bhanu Pratap tumbledown their family, also sells her at the brothel and she turns into Meena Bai. Soon after his homecoming, Shashi strives and catches hold of her. Despite the refusal of Bhanu Pratap, he marries her by scrubbing the past and Amita becomes pregnant. Meanwhile, Bhanu Pratap tramples the villagers under his feet which is resisted by Sathpal. Here, Shashi honors their demands and decides to bestow his property to them. Then, begrudged Bhanu Pratap conspires by permanently making them his slave drivers and forges Sathpal as a swindler. Therefore, Shashi furiously proceeds toward him when he is brutally killed and Sathpal is penalized. At the same time, Amita delivers a baby girl when Bhanu Pratap seeks Haria to eliminate them. However, allegiant Haria leaves her back at the court area. In tandem, hearing fake news of her husband’s death Shanti escapes. Now, Shankar lands at the estate with Amita & Shanti and divulges the reality. Being cognizant of it, Bhanu Pratap shoots Haria and before dying, he reveals Madhu as the daughter of Amita. Finally, the movie ends with Shankar ceasing Bhanu Pratap and Amita relieves the villagers from servitude by sacrificing her life.
