Clyde Carney "Jack" Johnson (January 7, 1892 – June 25, 1927) was an American football, basketball, and baseball coach.[1]

Coaching career

Johnson was the head football coach for the Elon Phoenix located in Elon, North Carolina. He held that position for the 1919 season. His coaching record at Elon was 1 win and 2 losses.[2][3]

He also coached baseball for five seasons at Elon and for two others at the University of Colorado.[4]

He died during appendicitis surgery in Boulder, Colorado in 1927.
