Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience (also known as Jonas Brothers: The Concert Experience) is a 2009 American concert film from Walt Disney Pictures and Jonas Films presented in Disney Digital 3D, Dolby 3D[3] and IMAX 3D. It was released in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico (being the first Digital 3-D movie ever to be shown in Puerto Rico) on February 27, 2009 with the release in other countries later on. The film stars the popular American trio: Jonas Brothers.

Reception and box office

The film received mostly negative reviews from critics. It holds a 22% "Rotten" rating on the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes based on 68 critics' reviews (15 fresh, 53 rotten).[7] On Metacritic, the film has a score of 45 out of 100 based on 14 reviews.[8] In general, critics panned the film for lacking appeal to any people outside the group's small fan base.

The film made $19,162,740 domestically and $3,930,702 foreignly summing up a worldwide total of only $23,093,442.[9] It also became #3 best grossing concert film following Michael Jackson's This Is It and the Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert.[10]

The film was released on DVD and Blu-Ray on June 30, 2009. In the US, the Blu-Ray edition of the film includes the 3D version, with both 1 and 2-disc DVD editions including only the 2D version of the film. However, for the UK and Australia DVD release of the film, Disney has chosen to release the movie with the 3D version on DVD, instead of choosing to put the 3D version on Blu-Ray only. Adding on to this point, there hasn't been an announcement of a UK Blu-Ray release of this film.[12]
