Desert Storm Records

In 1997, Duro, DJ Clue, and Skane Dolla (Dj Clue's Manager) developed Desert Storm Records. The labels first major artist is rapper, Fabolous. In September 2001, Fabolous released his debut album Ghetto Fabolous charting at #4 on the Billboard 200. The label was previously distributed through Interscope, Elektra, Atlantic and Sony. The label was currently distributed through Def Jam but is without a distribution partner. They are in talks with FMR. Chairman of Def Jam and now Chairman of Epic Records, L.A. Reid and Epic Label President Sylvia Rhone (who signed the label during her stint as CEO Of Elektra Records in 2000) for a joint venture deal. As of November 6, 2014, Desert Storm affiliate "Fly Ty" signed a label deal with Sony/Columbia Records for his company, Against Da Grain Ent.
