Song

"Line" is a song written and performed by Latvian band Triana Park. The song was released as a digital download on 10 January 2017 through Krap Records. It represented Latvia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017.[1]

Eurovision Song Contest

Triana Park were confirmed to be taking part in Supernova 2017, Latvia's national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 on 13 January 2017.[2] They competed in the second heat, held on 12 February 2017, and advanced to the semi-final as one of the public vote's qualifiers.[3] Then, during the semi-final, held on 19 February 2017, they qualified for the final, once again as one of the public vote's qualifiers.[4] During the final, held on 26 February 2017, they were declared the winners after winning the public vote.[1] Latvia competed in the second half of the first semi-final at the Eurovision Song Contest, failing to participate in the final.[5][6]
