Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz (born August 13, 1926) was the president and prime minister of Cuba from 1976 to 2008. He led the Cuban Revolution which overthrew the government of Fulgencio Batista. This is a list of places, buildings and other things named for Castro.

In Cuba

Because Castro has chosen not to create a cult of personality, inside Cuba there are no streets, buildings, institutions or localities named for him. There are no official photos of Castro.[1]

Outside Cuba

{{cite book}}: |access-date= requires |url= (help); Check date values in: |accessdate= (help); Unknown parameter |trans_title= ignored (|trans-title= suggested) (help)
