Mapna Locomotive Engineering and Manufacturing Company (MLC) is a manufacturing company in Iran. It was established in 2006 with the objective manufacturing 150 passenger locomotives in cooperation with Siemens AG. MLC is a subsidiary of MAPNA, a company engaged in power, oil and gas, railroad and other industrial projects.

The EuroRunner 24 PC[1][2] (also known as the IranRunner 22 locomotive[3]) is a 4-axle, diesel-electric rail vehicle, derived from the Eurorunner family of locomotives with a Bo´Bo´ axle arrangement and a top speed of 160 km/h.[3] The operating weight of the locomotive (with 2/3 consumables on board) is 85,5 metric tons max. This is equal to a load of 21,375 metric tons per axle max. The machine can operated from temperatures from - 25 °C to + 50 °C (+ 55 °C with performance restrictions)
