Marjorie Monaghan is a California-born American actress. Raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, she is best known for her portrayal in 1997 and 1998 of Theresa Halloran (aka 'Number One', leader of the Mars Resistance) in the television series Babylon 5.[1][2]
Career
Monaghan has performed in other science fiction roles, such as "JoJo Thorson" in the 1993 series Space Rangers, where reviewers remarked on her portrayal of JoJo as a "low-voiced feminist blond bombshell",[3] and the "Heroes and Demons" episode of Star Trek: Voyager. She was considered for the role of T'Pol in Star Trek: Enterprise.[4]
Monaghan starred as Kathleen Ryan in the 1999 series Rescue 77, where a reviewer said her "tough, thoughtul performance" was the only saving grace of a "generic action series".[5]
