Mitwaa or Mitwa (Template:Lang-mr) is a Marathi movie Produced by Sagar Pictures. starring Swwapnil Joshi, Sonalee Kulkarni & Prarthana Behere in lead roles. The pair Swwapnil Joshi and Sonalee Kulkarni are seen opposite to each other for the first time. For the second heroine, the director claimed for a fresh face. A talent hunt show for the new face was conducted by Swwapnil Joshi on Marathi Music channel 9X Jhakaas and Prarthana Behere was selected as the second lead. The film released on 13 February 2015.[2] "Savar Re Mana", sung by Swapnil Bandodkar, Janhavi Prabhu-Arora & composed by Nilesh Moharir was trending among the Marathi people and has become popular. The song "Dur Dur" sung by Swapnil Bandodkar Bela Shende and Adarsh Shinde has also become popular. The second song "Satyam Shivam Sundaram" from the film was released in Zee Gaurav Puraskar on 26 October. The film was clear Box Office hit, continuing for more than 25 weeks across Maharashtra.
The movie was remade in Bengali in 2017 as Ami Je Ke Tomar starring Ankush.
Plot
Shivam Sarang, a rich hotelier from Goa, doesn't believe in love or the institution of marriage. But when he meets Nandini, a smart woman, joins his hotel as an employee, he is attracted to her. He tried proposed her but she rejected it by stating her past . A few years before she was an orphan who was supposed to get married to Ashwin Desai . She didn't loved him but respected and trusted a lot . He loved her so much that he treated her like a princess . He started to teach her driving . Once during driving they got into an accident, Nandini was safe but Ashwin got hurt while saving her and from them he was in hospital just a body without soul . Doctors said he can't move his body even slightly it is better to let him go but Nandini wasn't ready she believed he will come to her and was living in that hope .
After a lots persuading Nandini agreed she loves Shivam and she is ready to be with him but 2 hrs of her day will be for Ashwin. Due to his insecurities Shivam goes to meet Ashwin but after meeting him Ashwin dies.
Nandini blames Shivam that because he met him and he comes to know that now she is with him so he don't have any reason to stay alive .
But Ashwin's mother thanks Shivam stating after seeing Shivam, Ashwin got carefree from the fact that apart from him someone is there to look after Nandini and that's the reason he left happily and not in sorrow .
After sometime Nandini also accepts the fact that she loves Shivam . They eventually both get married have a girl child, but again when both Shivam and Nandini get into an accident she forgets everything, her marriage, her daughter , death of Ashwin . She continues to go to Hospital for 2 hrs and talks with empty bed assuming Ashwin there .

Box Office
The movie opened to fantastic response at the box office collecting ₹5 crore (US$600,000) in opening weekend. After a long run at the box office, the movie collected ₹13.5 crore (US$1.6 million) in its theatrical run.[6]
