B-side"Somebody New", "What Is Love"

"Mr. Rock & Roll" is a single by Scottish singer-songwriter Amy Macdonald, released on 16 July 2007. It was her first full single after the limited online release of "Poison Prince",[1] and was released on CD and 7" vinyl. It charted at #12 on the UK Singles Chart. The song is the first track on Macdonald’s debut album This Is the Life, and is her most successful single in the UK so far. This song was also featured on the BBC Olympics 2008 programming, where it was played as the show looked over the day's events.

The song's hook is bolstered by the use of the copy and paste technique.

Music video

The music video consists of Macdonald playing a guitar in a white room. Pictures of her and a man and a woman walking in town are also seen.
