Powerchip Technology Corporation (力晶科技股份有限公司;) is a maker of memory chips and also provides foundry services to the customers.

Powerchip was incorporated in 1994 at Hsinchu Science Park in Taiwan. The company became a publicly listed company on the Taiwan GreTai Securities market, or the GTSM. Its outstanding global depositary shares, or GDSs, became publicly listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange in November 1999 and quoted on SEAQ International of the London Stock Exchange in October 1999 before being transferred for trading on the International Order Book of the London Stock Exchange on September 24, 2001.

Powerchip has three fabrication lines, of which handle 300mm silicon wafers.

The major businesses of Powerchip include research, development, manufacturing, foundry, and selling of all types of IC products, and furthermore operate import & export trading business related to the company’s operations.
