Roland Gutierrez (born September 1, 1970) is an American attorney and a Democratic member of the Texas House of Representatives for District 119 for the South Side of his native San Antonio, Texas.[1]

Gutierrez chairs the House Committee on Defense and Veterans' Affairs on appointment from Republican House Speaker Joe Straus, also of San Antonio. Gutierrez has been mentioned as a potential candidate for the Texas State Senate District 19 seat currently held by his fellow Democrat, Carlos Uresti, who is under investigation for his role with FourWinds Logistics, a former oil field services company charged with defrauding investors.[2]

Gutierrez is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio and St. Mary's University School of Law, also in San Antonio.
