Salanam is a 2003 Indian-Tamil soap opera starring Ashok, Shalini, Keerthana, Murali and Ajay Kapoor. It aired from 5 May 2003 to 17 October 2003 on Star Vijay.[1] The series was produced by UTV and directed by Kavitha Bharathy. It is inspired by the 1995 movie Aasai. It had been receiving the highest ratings of Tamil serials.[2]

Plot

Salanam serial is about three young girls (Nandhini, Sandhiya and Vidhya) whose lives are caught in a vortex and how they disentangle themselves.
